The Farm Dogs

We have a pack of 4 dogs at our farm!  Daisy the Bernese Mountain Dog, Duke the Great Pyrenees, Josie the Anatolian Shepard and our most recent addition Charlie! He is the sweet baby boy of Duke and Josie. We chose to add Duke and Josie to our farm specifically because they were Livestock Guardian dogs, we wanted them to protect our property and livestock. Daisy was our house dog before we decided to move out to property, she loves her new brother and sister, most of the time

We got little Timmy as a barn cat, he caught 2 rats in his short career as a ratter. Unfortunately his career was cut short by teenage audacity and he was the victim of an assault by coyote. We are happy that he has made a full recovery even after the vet said he may have permanent nerve damage. He has taken a job in egg quality control, and has become a full time house cat instead. Little Tim has the grace of a bison and makes his presence known as he tramples through the house.

We still wonder if this tabby is actually part dog. He was a stray that someone picked up at the Emerald Queen Casino, we think he may have had a gambling addiction. He has left that life behind and is enjoying the farm life now. Harold leads an indoor/outdoor kind of life, sunbathing with the dogs or cuddling on the couch. Be careful if you come by the farm and leave a car door open though, he will hop right in!
